Default Sun shade

Has anyone ever come across or maybe seen a DIY sun shade for side windows? I've come across these online but I was wanting a more prefect fit.

I don't have any tint on my windows and I just wanted to keep the sun and it's heat out. Ill consider any DIY ideas

I was about to recommend Junction Produce Curtains, but then at that price point, you might as well get tints lol.

i had my all of windows lightly tinted with 3m's crystalline line (including the windshield), although my car still gets unbearably hot when sitting in the sun anywhere -- will the heatshield sun shades provide any additional cooling?

also, our dashes are kind of fragile in that they scratch easily, not as bad as the second-generation IS, although still easily scratched; has anyone found sun shades to scratch the dash?

Has anyone done VIP curtains on 3is? Trying to picture it looking tasteful in this sporty car.

heatshield really does help. I put mine up religiously and yeah when i get in sure the car is hot, but not unbearable like it would be if it wasn't there.

Default Sun shade

I decided get to go wit 5% tint on my back glass and 20% on my front. Might be illegal in Louisiana but I think I'll get by.

Got the Covercraft, but it doesnt cover the full lengths of the windshield. the sides are short by 1" each side. I am actually debating to get the heatshield since it seems to go from edge to edge with complete coverage.
