I did a bit of searching and the best i could come up with were IS250 17s from either the 2nd or 3rd gen, but i havent had any luck finding a decent set. Ive poked around in our wheels for sale forum but there doenst look like much of a market for a small boring wheel

Any guidance of other models/year/even makes, would be appreciated.

I would LOVE an set of steelies but it doesn't look like that option exists so id rather go OEM but still want to size down from 18 for more sidewall. Id also prefer them to be a square set up so i can rotate after each season of use for longer life.

Tire Rack has some VERY cheap wheel options but they always look like they are trying too hard. Its vein and i know it but i dont want a nice looking car on boy racer wheels, yes i care what people (that cant spot a winter tire) think of me. At least on steelies it pretty obvious you didnt just get 4 flats at once.

what about ES 17x7s? Is 7" entirely too narrow? It looks like stock IS 250 17s are 8.5".

Trying to find a wheel that small a diameter but that wide is proving hard.

I think the main issue is the 350 Fsport's brake calipers are too big for some wheels. i'm in the same boat as you guys. If i cant find any in good condition used i might just pick up a set of enkei 17's on tirerack and call it a day.

I was told the same by the dealer that the OEM 17s would not fit on the IS350 for the same reason. The OEM 18s already have narrow clearance (

I was planning on getting 17'' wheels with 225/45/17, would these fit the IS350 F-Sport ?

Not that its bible but its weird that tirerack would have 17" winter tire options but the 17s from its 250 sister would fit.

I too was looking at getting hub centric steelies for my 350 but even the biggest tire and rim shop here didn't have any that they thought would fit so I went to a friend at a local Toyota dealership. First thing he tried was a set of 17s for the Rav4. They were supposedly made with more clearance for the brakes than the normal steels. They almost worked but the front caliper was making contact right on the outside edge.


They also had some aftermarket alloys for the venza and Avalon that uses the same bore and bolt pattern as the 350 so we tried those and they fit perfectly. It's tight but nothing touches or rubs. They only cost $150 Canadian a piece and they looked ok. I'd say its a similar look to the F Sport rims but not in gun metal. Another plus, since they were made specifically to go on Toyotas I can reuse the lugs and wheel locks from the Lexus. I know of others who got hubcentric "made for Toyota/Lexus" rims that still had to buy new nuts due to the different seat.

P.S. I put on a set of 4 Blizzaks in the base tire size for the 250. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle this winter. I never got around to using them last year because by the time I was able to resolve an issue with the guys who mounted the tires (damaged the rim with the machine) winter was over.

Tire rack definitely has 17s that will fit though, or so they claim. I was shocked when I found out that oem isf rims won't fit on the 350.

if you can ever find a base base IS350, they come with 17" wheels standard

Whoops. That post got cut off before I submitted it.

I meant to say that the OEM 18s already have very narrow clearance from the brake calipers (less than 8 or 9 mm). My understanding was that the calipers for the IS350 are larger than the IS250. Agree that the dealer might be trying to upsell and I haven't tried it for myself.

OEM 17x8 +45 definitely fit the IS350, they come standard from factory.

IS250 fits most 16"
IS350 fits some 17", the calipers are very wide, so you need spoke clearance. Factory 2IS/3IS 17's will clear fine, as will some aftermarket wheels.

I've run RAV4 17x6.5" on my IS250, but didn't care for the way they looked. They won't clear IS350 calipers though, just IS250.

The IS F requires 18", as does the RWD GS350 F-Sport. The RC F requires 19" I believe (but haven't tested). Just in case anyone was curious.
