Hey guys, so this past weekend, I disconnected my battery to just tighten one of the wires on my Nigel LED fogs. it was a little loose, upon reconnecting the battery and using the car this past week, the weather and traffic have not been updating at all. only when my phone is connected and the enform app is synced. therefore using mobile data, not HD radio signal. I am getting HD radio and I am in the same areas I usually am so im sure the HD signal isn't the issue. Any suggestions? should I just disconnect the battery again? thanks!

Maybe resetting the battery changed your settings from both HD and mobile data to just data?? If you haven't already, check those settings.

yeah I tried toggling those settings to just HD only... same result even after turning the car on and off a few times during the day. ill try disconnecting the battery again or else I guess ill have to take a spin by the dealer

Hey guys so to update. Made it almost two weeks with no traffic/weather. Did another battery reset. Cleared personal data. Finally scheduled a appointment with the dealer and went today. And believe it or not as soon as i got to the dealer maybe two miles or so before, my dealer is an hour away it started working -_- Traffic and weather were working perfectly. But since i was there and traveled all that way, i had the dealer check anyway and they said the system was working perfectly.

Now after reaching home the problem arose again and now i have no weather or traffic once again. So i suspect a bad signal in my area even though it has never given me a problem. Weird part is my friend has a 14 is as well and his works just fine and he lives five minutes away. What the heck do i do guys. I am dumbfounded

I've noticed that it comes and goes. I have no answer for you but, as of yesterday my weather map wasn't working. My traffic is working fine. It makes no sense. Not long after I bought my car I had the weather map issue and had the dealer look at it. Other than a personal data delete, they had no idea.

Thanks for the response doodlebug. Yeah this is really weird. And a little frustrating because the traffic especially is pretty useful during my commutes. I would blame it on a bad signal in my area if not for my friends IS whose is working fine. Maybe ill have a local dealership do a radio reset

I've had the same experience. Resetting Data in the menu screen usually doesn't do anything either.
One dealer in my area did a "re-calibration" whatever that means.
Another dealer did a hard reset... which meant disconnecting the battery for 30+ mins.

Both method gave me back my weather map and traffic info. after visiting the dealer.
