Anyone know if bent or out of round wheels that have been straightened and repaired are more susceptible to future damage, such that they’d have a resulting ‘weak’ spot?
depending on what type of material and process of manufacturing the wheels go through. But I know that paints on repaired wheels aren't as durable as factory coating.
Had my 1 piece forged wheels repaired (3 of them were bent). With the repaired wheels, I started getting a slight vibration at 50 mph +. Drove me crazy and ended up just buying a new set of wheels a couple of days later

Thanks!
Not if they are properly straightened, have the bare wheel imbalance checked on a wheel balancer to see how much out of balance it is before mounting a tire on it so you know what you have.
