The rent charge tells the story, inflated money factor. That should be about $1,500-1700.

do you really need 3-4 different threads to ask the same question?

actually I just counted 5... lol...

I recommend you spend some time reading in the threads you posted in. there is good, recent, and accurate information here; after a short amount of time you will be able to decide on your own if the deal is fair.

I am all about helping out the fellow forum member and proving helpful information to each situation, but when you post the same thing over and over in all these different threads it just screams "spoon feed me" IMO. you need to be willing to do some research on your own in order to make a responsible and informed decision.

Hi all,

Im in the market to get a new Lexus IS350 F-Sport RWD. The dealer offer $45,215 plus tax & lic fees.
The MSRP is $49,159.00. Is this a good deal? I never bought a car before.

Package/Options:

- Blind Spot Monitor w/Rear Cross Traffic Alert Auto-Dimming exterior mirrors
- Dynamic Radar Cruise Control w/Pre-Collision Sys
- F SPORT Package
- Navigation System/Mark Levinson

I was looking for a car without Navigation System/Mark Levinson or Navigation package to keep the cost low. However, I am having trouble looking for the specific IS350. I dont know if its possible to get the car at 40 - 41k

How is Lexus IS 250 in terms of power? Does it have trouble going up steep hills and such?

here is a lot more good information on what deals others are getting on the is 250/350:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...350-a-123.html

If you are thinking about leasing, here is a good thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...d-f-sport.html

Found a few more pricing question threads on here with a quick search.

Also, there are a lot of good posts here comparing the differences between 250 vs 350, RC vs IS, etc. I don't think anyone has had issues "getting up steep hills" in the is250... I guess it depends on what you are comparing it to. I would recommend at least driving both before making your decision and getting a feel for each car and how it drives.

I leased lexus IS 350 F sport RWD last week in Black with red interior, I am still wondering if I got the good deal or not?

The specifications are: Nav, BSM, and F sport package- heated and cooled seats, Mark Levinson, backup camera, all weather floor mats, rear bumper applique, cargo net, key gloves.

My monthly is $523 for 24 months 7500 miles with $1000 down.

The dealer waived registration fees ($510) and bank fees ($700) and 1st payment.

Car's MSRP was $49159 dealer gave the discounted price as $43500 after alot of hours of negotiating.

Residual value after 2 years is: $35800.

I am pretty new so don't know the money factor and other things but, I am in 10% interest area.

Is this a good deal? I am planning to buy it after 2 years so I leased i with minimum mileage.

Hey. I don't claim to be a financial pro, but I've leased a few cars before and purchased a 3IS 250 not too long ago. IMO, you got a reasonably good deal, but the dealer could have given you a better price since the mileage was high.

The good news, you leased it for 2 years, and if you enjoy the new car, it's a good deal. Plus, you got the 350 model with the F sport pkg. I've heard of worse deals for the same car on a longer lease term. Enjoy!

If you consider padding ~ $2,000 of profit into the money factor of the lease a "reasonably good deal".

I'm not trying to be hard on the OP, but people look to these threads for a source of knowledge. The above deal is NOT a good deal or even a reasonably good deal...the dealer hosed him on the MF.

Bear in mind that purchase and lease pricing in Canada is higher than in the US.

Are there any Lexus IS350 F-Sport without Navigation package and Premium Sound System? I am having trouble finding a IS350 with just F-Sport package here in Socal.

you might have to custom order one to get just what you want.. the cars the dealers get typically come with a couple packages to get that MSRP up a bit I have looked at dealer inventory at every dealer in AZ and they all seem to have NAV and mark l audio packages for the is350 rwd f sports.

I see. I dont know which car model to get. I was hoping to get IS350 with tax and registration for 44 - 45k. But since unwanted package comes with this model its a dilemma.

IS250 is too weak
IS350 is too expensive
IS200t might be the right car for me but the dealer said it would be difficult to get a deal on new model.

Don't give up - with the 2016s just around the corner, if you negotiate hard, you just might be able to get a 2015 350 that stickers between 48-49k for 45k or a little more OTD. It would have to be a killer deal but you never know.

Sales person offered good deal on IS350. MSRP $48,600 for $44,700. But after tax and registration, it comes out to be 50k.

$3900 discount off msrp in CA is not a very good deal. I recommend you read the price/deal related threads here and in other forums - you should see discounts ranging from 10-15% - average is around 12%. From now to the end of the year, you should see some great deals on the 2015s - but you'll need to get as many dealers as you can competing for your business. The discount we got on our 2014 at the beginning of last Oct was almost twice what you say you've been offered. Be patient and work at it - the offers will come.
