Arrow Transmission Software Update? - 2015 IS 350 F-Sport

Hey guys,

I had my 5000 mile service done last week and noticed that my transmission is much better at timing and holding shifts. Previously it always felt like the transmission would shift too soon and get lost between gears.

I used to be so annoyed by the standard driving mode that I would switch to Sport+ as soon as I started the car but now I love driving in standard mode.

Does anyone know if there was a recent software update for our trannys? This is for a 2015 IS 350 F-Sport RWD.

if it was, then it should be on your service invoice.

It sounds like they may have cleaned out the gobbledygook from the transmission’s hyperbolic turbo encabulator chamber helping to reduce friction on the lead quantum parabolic reticulator so that all the trailing planetary gears mesh in perfect alignment. I’m not 100% certain though.

I would wait until the new engine . The 2GRFSE is ten years old now. The update maybe out hopefully in 2017 when the refresh.

What are you talking about? I'm saying that my transmission shifts seem a lot smoother and the logic smarter vs. the first 5000 miles.

OP, they may have simply reset the ECU or if your battery was disconnected, same result. The transmission programming is reset to factory specs and will learn anew your driving habits and adjust the shifting program accordingly.
