thinking about getting my grill and window outlines done in black (rather than the standard chrome)....does anyone have any pictures of their cars done as such?

You will find a ton of pictures if you search "dechrome"

Window trim is blacked out but not the grill. It's a year old and still looks like new.

what did you do the windows with? A few places I took mine too said they can't wrap with vinyl because there is nothing to wrap too/around.

They are saying to plastidip it, idk if I want to do that tho.

mine's a vinyl wrap. They did it at the same time they tinted the windows. I didn't see them so I have no idea how it was done but it looks great.

I'm a fan of subtle mods. I like the idea of not easily being able to tell that it's not stock, but yet somehow looks better than stock. I contemplated blacking out the grill trim but thought that with the dark gunmetal rims and tinted windows it would look too obviously murdered out.

I got quoted $300 just for the window trim. No idea if that's normal or not though. I've never had anything wrapped before.

Very clean! Did you do this yourself or a local shop? I'm in SoCal and looking for a place to do this for me. I'm not a very good DIYer

Welp, the place that quoted me definitely tried to screw me. Lol. Good thing I don't jump at the first price. I'll check more around the Tampa area.
