New windshield!
Anyone know where I can find a cheaper windshield for my 2014 Lexus IS350? A rock hit it earlier this week from a truck passing and the crack is about 8 or so inches long. :-(
I've looked at Safelite & they want to charge $650 for a brand new one. Thank you, any suggestions are helpful. :-)

One thing that my insurance agent recommended was to look for used glass....... but I didn't really like the idea of getting used glass for my new car.

Does your policy cover glass? I had mine replaced a few weeks ago, paid a little over a $100 for Lexus glass. the problem you're going to run into is that there aren't too many replacement windshield for the IS. It's pretty messed up your insurance is suggesting used glass, maybe the agent didn't know better?

Sorry to hear about your crack. I had the same problem a few weeks ago, and I had to shell out $500 for a deductible and went with Safelite. Is the $650 an insurance deductible, or is that the actual cost of the windshield Safelite is charging you? Cause they quoted me about $1100 for the windshield.
