Everyone I reached out to for this, all ended up ruling out this was too hard due to electrical chip issues..

I have one more person I'm going to try out.

I'm not sure why are trying to replace the whole paddle, just design anything that is made from aluminum and covers the original plastic paddle.

I agreee. Don't get me wrong, a whole new Paddle would be awesome , but just one that attaches to the stock would do. Maybe carbon fiber

Like a clip on? We have thought of that. It will not be aesthetically pleasing. I also wanted to replace the whole paddle because it would be a better, stronger paddle, instead of just a clip on.

I hear you on quality, but think of ease of installation as a significant factor for purchasing. 3M tape makes wonders when it comes to strength...

yeah, the last thing I would want is a paddle shifter held on by 3M tape. You can't sacrifice quality unless you are a knock off accessory company from China.

Where'd you get them from?
Do they make these for the 3rd gen IS?

Looks pretty awesome!

There is a range between $138 (black aluminum) - $199 (carbon fiber), depending upon color. I hate the plasticky feel of the stock ones. I'd probably get black ones so that its less visible. There are older model shifters that are much cheaper...but these do look nicer.

FR500GT - How do they feel and does it block your gauge view much?

Ebay. They fit the RC and IS models and they have a few different color options and they range anywhere between $130-$220 depending on which one you want (Black, Red, Blue, Silver, Titanium, Carbon Fiber). I bought the titanium ones for $140.

Correct, A little overpriced but 100% worth it for me. I have been wanting these since I first test drove the RC350/RCF.

Agreed.

They feel great! The shifts are firm as they should be they look like an OEM+ mod. I already have my steering wheel preset at the lowest setting and as close as possible to me so the extensions don't really get in the way.
