RPM spike when decelerate
Hello guys. Long time lurker here.
I have a 2015 IS350 FSport.
I drive full automatic in Sport+ mode, and I notice whenever I decelerate, the RPM would spike up around 200rpm and back to normal within second. It is consistently when the gears are changing down. Is this normal? Thanks in advance for your input.

I believe I don't feel or see it when I am in normal or ECO mode. It is more prominent when I am in Sport+ mode. That is why I asked. Definitely have no time to troll. Thanks for ur input.

Lol are you worried about your auto Revmatching? Dont worry, it's a sport+ feature. Most good transmissions do it. In fact, you chose the Fsport so you paid for it. Even manuals now.

This freaks me out everytime. Punch it for a few seconds from dead stop, then off the throttle to avoid a speeding ticket, but the engine is revving out in too low of a gear. I understand why it is this way, but it doesn't upshift for several seconds. After a brief burst of speed in Sport Mode, is it best to hit the button to return to Normal, or do people upshift several gears using the paddle shifters?
