Wow 10K? My last car before this was a 2014 altima v6, same thing, 5k miles, and then my car before that, a 2012 mazda cx-7 was for 3K. I think 5K is fair enough since they also check the brakes, fluids, and rotate the tires for free. It's like a safety inspection every 5K so at least I'm at peace that my car is still in tip top shape

I think you're right! Looking at the receipt, it didn't say they will change the oil, it just says: "5,000 Mile Complimentary Service - Synthetic Oil Vehicles". Maybe it was me who misunderstood the situation. Lol!
