Default Recommended PSI for summer tires/Michelin PSS for 3IS

For those who have Michelin PSS or similar high performance summer tires on 18" rims for 3IS, I wonder if you follow the manufacturer's recommendation, ie. 36PSI for front and rear (225/40R18 and 255/35R18)

The reason for asking is that I was told by my dealership that the pressure should be set to 38PSI for all 4 summer tires as they claim it would reduce the chance of uneven wear for such high performance summer tires. On the other hand, my tire shop says I should stick with what is said on the door.

Stick with what's on the door. I've had Pilot Sports for 11 years and never heard that from anybody.
