When will Lexus reveal the official 2016 lineup (including IS 200T)?

I bet the VAST majority of the IS250 buyers aren't enthusiasts and wouldn't care much if the turbo came out. Enthusiasts mostly care about the IS350 and even given a chance between the 200T or the 350, most would probably buy the bigger engine if they could afford it. Where the mags will really care is if Lexus brings out a 3.0L turbo. Seems like thats not gonna happen this year.

At this point, I'm not sure Lexus is even planning on updating or upgrading the IS 350 engine. Its possible the 3.5 might be the engine for the entire life cycle of the 3IS 350. There are no whispers, rumors or anything else on CL indicating there's something coming.
I've asked CL members like Hoovey, Joe Z and flipside before and they've heard nothing.
I am looking forward to test driving the IS 200t though.

it would be super awesome though if Lexus has just been supremely ninja in keeping a 3.0T on the downlow. Wouldn't it be something to have a 360+ HP option to really bring the IS to life!!

I actually would not mind if Lexus kept the is350 N/A and gave it an increase in revs, bump up HP to 330-350, leave TQ alone (i think this car has enough useful TQ without overpowering the rear wheels too much) add an adkinson cycle in the cam timing for increased MPG, get more aggressive with the rear gears along with a limited slip unit because of the higher revband, and have a transmission software that will upshift at redline without having to use the manual shift mode.

I guess Lexus might give 200T less power than NX for gas millage. Plus, they can't let their entry level car be faster than all other models.

But as for power, I would guess the opposite. Lexus IS buyers are mostly part of the sporty sedan crowd. if they want cushy roomier sedan they go ES or even GS. Most people expect Lexus to bump up the HP/TQ in the IS200T and RC200T. I expect somewhere in the 245 to 250 HP range with about 270 lb ft torque. This will make Lexus a prime competitor to the 328i sedan and 428i coupe models. (and compete with A3 and A5 from Audi)

Enthusiasts will definitely be attracted to the 200T, FAR more than what the 250 brought.

Toyota tends to focus on handling instead of power. FRS is a very good example. The car is excellent besides the power. Let's see what Lexus will give us.

If you want the cheaper alternative, you get the IS250 which IMO slots beneath the 328 (way cheaper comparatively optioned).
There is no alternative for a 335 in Lexus lineup.

so... back to the original purpose of the thread... does anyone know when Lexus puts out their yearly lineup? I've never shopped for a new car like this so I ask genuinely. Do they add the 2016 models to the "Build your Lexus" configurator all at once?

Makes sense... but it is a bit disappointing that Lexus is waiting so last minute to reveal the 2016 models. They already showed the EX, and lots of other car companies have done full reveals on 2016 models. Cadillac showed the CTS-V and ATS-V.
Cmon Lex... sup with the 200T rollouts?!!

"IS200t" is coming for sure
I recently spoke with a few Lexus employees at my local dealership, and they confirmed for me that next year's IS model will start with a 4-cylinder turbo engine (IS200t). Apparently the dealership owner was invited to a private event and got to test drive this model already. There will no longer be an AWD option, but the RWD will come with all-season tires in certain regions (like where I'm from, Michigan). I have no confirmed date that it will be announced and released, but I'd bet the 2016 model will be available later this year.
