Default Just bought my IS 250. Do my tires have a problem?

Hey guys,

I have just bought my brand new 3IS last Thursday. Super excited about it (even tho my frd already scratched the bottom of my car door)!! But before I started my car yesterday morning, I noticed that the tire monitoring system is showing that my front left tire only has 34 psi while all of my other tires have 37 psi.

Should I be concerned and contact the Lexus dealer? I can easily go to a gas station to pump that tire to 37 psi. But I just didn't expect a brand new car with less than 160 miles to have this problem.

Thanks for your help!

i would suggest fill it up to match the others, take along your own PSI gauge, if it persists, take it in.

Mine was like that too. Except for me one of the tires had more air than the other 3. I recommend you go to a gas station and just put more air in. It's not something to go to the dealers for. Now if you're losing more air by the day, then that might be an issue to take to them.

Echoing the others, I wouldn't worry about it. Chances are whoever inflated the tires underinflated one of them. FIll it up to match and keep an eye on the TPMS monitor.

At delivery, mine was inflated to 45psi! Took air out to 33psi. Rides much better.

Btw, I tried to find a way to get to the tpms monitor where it shows the 4 wheels with the pressures, but can only get to the tpms screen (middle screen) and can only reset it. How do I navigate to the tpms screen? TIA

Mine were inflated properly, they should be since the dealer here charges a $700 "delivery prep" fee......

I am very OCD with tire pressure, I carry a portable pump w/ gauge in the trunk then use separate pressure gauge to measure actual tire pressure. I keep it at 36 psi (cold) on all 4 tires.
