Another tire size help thread
I own a 2015 is250 awd f sport , I'm going to be buying 19x8.5 +35 F and 19x9.5 +38 R wheels , my question is what tire sizes with no fender mods or camber , the car will be dropped on rsr down springs , would work with my car with no rubbing thanks in advance

Your thread is related to mine. Only difference - I'm going for 20s. I've seen other 3IS owners running 19s on 235/35-19 & 265/30-19. They were also lowered.

Actually maybe I should have went with 255's on Michelin Pilot Super Sports... those are actually pretty square/thick, so I may rub on my 9.5 +39 rears lol.
Oh well my wheel set should be in sometime next week I'm hoping, so I'll report back

The 255 would be a safer bet yes. It would just be a slight stretch.

You previously mentioned that you didn't have any rubbing issues. What do you think is the culprit for the rubbing that's occuring now? Is your setup still 19x9.5 et 40 with 265 in the rear with RSR half down springs? I don't have first-hand experience with the various setups, but from what I've been reading, I'm surprised that even with a combination of a non-aggressive offset and mild drop, you would still be susceptible to rubbing.

Slight rub entering gas stations and big dips. Luckily I'm on coilovers and I can raise the car a quarter inch to solve the issue.

Update:
Got my wheels on today 19 x 9.5 +39 with Michelin Pilot Super Sports 265/30/19
The driver side rear rubs a bit on dips and inclines. The passenger side rear hardly rubs at all oddly.
Might be an alignment issue, I'll have to get that checked out soon.
It has been super rainy today so I didn't get pics

255/30/20 in the rear will be the best option. i already have it installed and the ride is smooth plus no rubbing, the view from the back is amazing but the view from the side is even better cuz the rim is a bit outward than the tire which makes it look more filthy(in a good way)
