Insane vibration!!
So, last night my effort to save my car failed, as i hit the curb at 80 kph trying to save it from a SUV driver who was about to hit me from the side. Although it was nothing major, just a scrape. I stopped at a fuel pump immediately to check my car, there was no damage just scratches on the rim, so i drove back home and there was no problem. However, today morning i started my baby up and as i drove it's shaking so bad. it's the wheel vibrating the whole car. the steering wheel is wobbling. Does anyone know what could be the problem over here?

will need a new wheel for sure, it's not obvious by looking at it, but i'm pretty sure it's bent to hell. Happened to my old car before but it was caused by weather. Slid into the curb and bent the hub, brake rotors and wheel.

Or it might be something as simple as a wheel balance. Just a few grams of metal shaved off from the rim during curb rash can cause severe vibration at high speeds. Is the vibration evident at all speeds?

It is noticeable at all speeds. When I drive the car it feels like its wobbling. I just dropped the car to the dealer. Hopefully they can figure out whats the issue.

Kind of odd you drove it home with no problems and the next morning there is a problem. Anything broken would have caused an issue right away I would think. Hope it turns out ok for you

Update: Just received a call from the dealer. Apparently it was a leaked shock absorber that was causing all this trouble. Thankfully, it is covered under warranty so it will be replaced by tomorrow.

Update #2: Turns out the vibration was caused by a faulty driver's side rear tire. Getting it replaced now. As for the shock absorbers, both the front absorbers had minor leaks (Don't know how). The parts will arrive within a week or 2. The dealer said its safe to drive the car until then.
Here's my car on a spacer if anyone's interested
