Hello,

I took my car to the dealer to update the firmware of the Nav unit as i was experiencing hanging/freezing and sluggish performance. The previous version was 8300 and they upgraded it to 87XX i cant remember the last two numbers.

Ever since then, i have not had any hanging/freezing issues, sluggishness is marginally improved. But my Lexus Enform apps like Bing, Pandora, Stocks and so on will not work. I have the car paired to my iphone 6 and i see that when the car is connected, the app shows the connection. But in the car when i select any of the apps, it does nothing. Just makes a sound confirming the selection but stays there. It does not freeze or anything.

I have tried re-pairing the phone, powering off and on the system by pressing and holding the volume **** for 3 secs.

Any ideas?

Try deleting the app and reinstalling it fresh.

My apps work fine, try reinstalling the app as stated above. I was surprised the nav now picks up real time traffic delays and reroutes me after the latest update. Previously it never did that, but it still sends me in circles sometimes depending on the area. You win some and you lose some

how do you remove and install an app?

he means the app on your phone not your nav. You just need to hold down the app, delete it and reinstall. You should pair the nav and the phone again. If that doesn't work talk to Tech support or take it to the dealer and let them figure it out.

ahh i see ok, i will try that.

Also recently, i have been getting these images on my map after reversing it out of my drive way and putting the car in drive. The only way to fix that is to put the car back in reverse so the rear view camera shows up and then back to drive.

Showed the issue to my dealer and they are ordering a new radio unit for me.
