Default Tire setup

So I'm due for new tires and was wondering if I switch my current staggered setup on my 14 IS350 AWD with factory rims to one of the below options:

Option 1) All four tires at P275/40ZR18

Option 2) Fronts: 225/40/18 Rears: P275/40ZR18

Please let me know. Thanks.

Running 275 on 8.5" wheel would look ridiculous...do not do it! Not to mention it won't be functional...

Stick with the factory size on the factory wheels...

True words. Wanna wider rubber - get wider rims.

You can not run 275/40R18 on the rear on a AWD vehicle.
You need to maintain your OD as close as possible.
There is a 1" difference between 275/40R18 and 225/40R18
You will destroy your diff.
You can run 265/35R18 on the rear with 225/40R18 but not 275/40R18.
You can run 275/40R18 all around because its the same OD.

What about 235/40/18 in front and 265/35/18 in rear?
