leather scratches

Default leather scratches

my gf scratched the leather right above the drivers side interior door arm rest it looks like finger nail scratches can it be fixed .it looks like i can't replace that one part i would need to buy the whole trim panel that costs 500 .

You should ask an upholstery shop they might be able to fix that piece. Or just learn to live with it

I would first try leather cleaner and then leather conditioner to see whether that helps it any. Sometimes conditioner has done wonders for scratches in the leather in my old car.

i will give it a shot ,i think the material is the nuluxe ,so i guess its vinyl not leather .so maybe a vinyl cleaner and conditioner will help.

The same thing happened to me with the Nuluxe. I used 303 aerospace protectant on it and it is no longer visible. I have used this protectant on all vinyl, leather, plastic and rubber including tires with great success. My 12 year BMW dash, seats, door panels and rubber trim looked new after twelve years. Good luck.
