LEXUS Lease Price quoted, Good or Bad ?
Hey Guys,
I have been quoted a lease price for a 2015 lexus is250 sport with red interior and white exterior with Nav. I have been quoted ABSOLUTELY $0 down for $349 per month, for 24 months (first month paid) or I could pay $3.5 k upfront for 190 per month. By the way the MSRP he quoted me was 44k, with a grad student discount of 1k
-Are these good deals ?
-if not what should I counter ?
-any advice or tips about the car?
-hows the color combo ?
Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated as this is my first time owning a Lexus

That sounds like a pretty good deal if the monthly payment is including tax too. For comparison, I pay 349 including tax for a 2015 is350 f sport full loaded with 2k down 24 months.

Sounds like a good deal, but what mileage is allowed and what is the penalty for exceeding the mileage allowance? Also, for the way you will use the car, is the mileage allowance enough for you? If your mileage allowance is 10K/year, it is a good deal unless you go way over. That could get expensive. Last question: does the car have blind spot monitoring? Mine came with that and I didn't think I needed it, but it is nice to have.

the mileage limit is 7,500 and the mileage over is .25 per mile, i don't think it has blind spot monitoring. Do you think I can negotiate the monthly price down or no ?

That is a great price.
My sister was just quoted $389 per month with $2500 down on your exact car. I think you are getting a fantastic deal. You will LOVE the car. I own a 2015 350 F sport, and my wife drives the 250 and they are amazing.

Sorry for the second post. I just got off the phone with my Brother who works for our local Lexus dealership. He said that is an extremley aggressive lease price. Do you know how many miles they are allowing you?
I will tell you 100% honestly. I leased a IS250 3 weeks ago, 2 days later I did trade up for the 350 F sport. I was coming from another IS and the 250 was a bit to slow for me. Don't get me wrong the car is BEAUTIFUL, interior, technology everything about it. It was just a little slower than my previous car. If you drove it and love it GET IT. That is a fantastic price.
MY 250 was Obsidian Black which I Loved, My 350 F sport is Nebula grey, its a perfect in between color. I will say I wish i did Atomic Silver with Roja interior, but that is totally personal preference. If you do Obsidian i would pay the $200 for the protection as Lexus does not use a thick clear coat on the Obsidian color. Please look at my profile photo album if you want to see my 250 in black with tint, and my 350 in Nebula grey with tint. PM me with ANY Questions once you get it. Congrats! I have owned 5 Lexus now, and wont switch.

I don't think you can get Blind spot negotiated in. They build certain packages. I would be surprised at that MSRP if it doesnt already have it. I would confirm with the dealer.
I am also new to the Forum, but have leased 4 of my previous Lexus's

My offer is $49,048 MRSP. After negotiation got it down to $43,944. OTD is $47,933. (includes sales tax, reg., tag, all misc fees) 10k miles a year. But since I'm planning to purchase after lease.. this wouldn't really matter..
I asked for both 27months and 36 months. With $0 down, $520 a month for 27 months. $500 for 36 months.
The car is a 2015 IS350 Fsport. Nebular grey, red interior.
Good deal..?

DPN556, thank you for the feedback ! I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting skewed with the deal and I have fallen in love with the car since the first time I laid eyes on it, I will definitely PM you with questions !

My only negotiating point on that deal would be to get them to throw in more miles. 7.5k miles per year is really really low. Just make sure that is right for you. 7.5k miles is only 20 miles per day of use. Most people tend to put on around 10-12K miles per year. 12K miles per year is an average of only 33 miles per day.
If you end up putting on 12K miles per year on a 7.5K mile lease you will end up owing Lexus $2250 by the end of the lease. That would be an additional $93 per month. Now if you can get them to throw in those miles for an additional 20 bucks a month or so than you have saved yourself a good amount. Just a thought. I'm sure you know your driving habits.
