Is it me or the day after the car wash, the window still gets wet when it's rolled down? I can't avoid rolling the window down because I need to access the garage opener. Seems like this didn't happen to my previous cars. Now I have to wipe it off again with stoner!

Happened to me too... even after a day or two, rolling down the windows and rolling it back up will get the window streaky.

It happens to all cars in the winter. The temperature isn't warm enough to evaporate the water that gets down into the window channel. It takes 2-3 days to completely dry out down there. Just open the door instead. That's what I do at the mailbox the day after I wash.

Yes, I've noticed that quite a bit. It is annoying but maybe it's because it's the winter time as IS1911 mentioned. I've had my car for about a month now so I guess I'll wait and see how it is in the spring.

Oddly enough I've noticed the same thing with my I350. Although it's winter here in Phoenix, AZ it still has been warm enough to dry in a few hours. But like you it's been taking 24hrs to completely dry. Prior to owning my Lexus I had a 2010 Nissan Maxima SV Sport. I never had any issues with water taking 24 hrs to dry. Is it annoying, yes! But...it's also something I'll have to live with.

this is annoying. i agree with you. the piece of rubber or felt or whatever you name/call it... whenever i roll down my window and up... omg... therefore my only solution is to carry a microfiber inside your door.... helps every time. And if it happens that the streak dries up before you wipe, just roll your windows down and up again so it is wet. Also another thing after u finish drying, water will somehow find its way from the gaps in the gas cover, trunk, and side mirrors....

off topic, but i stilll wish we had automatic folding side mirrors.

I haven't noticed this being any better or worse than with any other car I've owned. The gas door and mirror drips are annoying, but I carry detail spray and microfiber towels for that.

i hate it when this happens as well. I just carry a microfiber towel in the back seat. the gas cap is the worst for me!

+1 Me too! I always have microfiber towels in the back seat or trunk. I hate when this happens or the gas cap is dropping water! So annoying when you've washed and dried your car so good and then water drops ruin it

I use a blower on the car when the blower is here at home, which is not all the time. The bad news is, all those spots, the mirrors, gas door, and spots around the taillights, still drip. The GS has the same drips in the same places.

I find this is a characteristic/design intent of Toyota/Lexus vehicles. All of the Lexus/Toyota vehicles I have owned in the past do the same dripping in various areas.

For Honda (Accord), I find less water dripping after car wash.

But a blower solves the problem.
