Default Question on tint drying/curing time

Looking to tint my car and I was looking between the Llumar CTX and Suntek CXP. I think I'm leaning towards the Llumar CTX.

Anyways, regardless of which one I choose I'm sure this would apply to both. Does anyone have experience, using either of these, as far as the dry/cure time it takes before I can roll down my windows, clean the car, etc.?

Thanks guys.

Have CTX on mine and love it. Typically it's 2-3 days for drying time but I rolled my windows down within a few hours after I tinted it. If cleaning the inside of the glass with cleaner, use the ammonia free one.

I had Llumar CTX installed on my 3IS and was advised not to lower windows for 48-72 hours. The thicker the tint film, the longer it needs to cure, but I've lowered my windows after 24 hours when the film was applied in cold weather (<40F) on my last car and it was fine.

Have the Llumar CTX, I waited a good 4 days before I rolled down anything. Remember, a big factor is also the quality of the install.

Just like stated above, its the quality of the install. On my Honda Civic i rolled down the window within the first 8 hours, have had it on the car for over 2 years and everything is still perfect.

Had Suntek on my 2IS opened the windows the next day, and it was installed late at around 9 PM, because a cop rolled up next to me on a street light, and had it for a good year before I parted ways with the car.

I would say give it at least a few days, and if you can, park it in the sun for several hours each day. That helps with the curing.
