Im not a fan of the front end grill of the RC. The back though, i love it. I saw an rc in a parking lot and saw the back, so aggresive.

I mean the is350 grill is already polarizing to the public this one takes it a notch further.

I have to throw a different viewpoint other than a coupe is usually more expensive than its sedan sibling.

One of the reasons why RC is more expensive is because the door panels are more refined -- there are some better materials as well as an extra ambience lighting.

Another reason is that there are more options available in RC than the IS (at least in North American markets). For instance, you can get park sensors in RC F-Sport and not in IS F-Sport.

Actually, the RC is slower in a 0 to 60 than the IS. According to the Lexus website, the RC takes 6 seconds while the IS takes 5.6 seconds. Car and Driver also agrees the RC is slower.

I'm pretty sure its due to the extra weight on the RC, which shouldn't make any sense for a car with 2 less doors.

I am never a fan of coupe. I do miss some standard features on the RC such as memory seat and power tilt/telescopic steering column. The cup holder is more user friendly as well. However, the RC is slower and more expensive.

I have an IS. I need a back seat thats easily accessible. Otherwise, I'd have an RC.

Coming from a 2-seater convertible and being single, I would have liked (and suited) an RC. To me, the rear doors and seats of the IS are superfluous. Main reasons why I didn't get an RC:

- relatively few around, much less selection
- more expensive
- big heavy doors

Default IS All the Way

It’s really simple, if you want 4 doors and room in the back seat for passengers, go with the IS. If not, go with the RC. I personally wouldn’t want a coupe as a daily.

One pro of a coupe is that no one ever wants you to drive a group of people hahaha
