Really? I'll have to try that. To be honest, I haven't driven the car much since installing the sub. What settings do you have on the sub amp, LOC, and stock head unit. I'm still trying to find the optimal settings.

I decided to put in my sub I have laying around. I pulled out the factory non-ML amp today to see whats doing. Is it better to tap the rear speakers or the sub wire? Are the rear speakers feed full range? Is the sub full range? Not sure where there is a crossover.

Any suggestions for a sub/set up that provides just a little more rumble? Nothing too crazy, the stock (non ML) is a bit underwhelming. I was thinking a single 10" but have been told that wasn't enough. preferably around $5/550

Hopefully someone who's done an install can answer this question. I have a 4.75" x 10" x 1.33" subwoofer amplifier to install (it's the Power Acoustik RZ1-1500D). Where would you install such an amp so that it's out of the way? I will have a custom fiberglass sub enclosure in the rear passenger side of the trunk where the first aid kit sits.

Here's my idea of where I may mount my amplifier, follow links for pictures.

Thank you, exactly that I'm looking for. My amp is just a tad smaller in all dimensions than yours so I'll place it there too (or rather have my installer do it).

For the remote i used the other smaller harness. Tap into that small white (maybe blue, but the smallest wire) wire.

Sorry for reviving a dead thread but I have read everywhere and I still don't know which remote to run some say run the cig lighter fuse some say ecu acc fuse and some say the center console the actual cigarette lighter itself. So my question is what's the best way and the easiest way to get the remote to work mines is a 15 is350 fsport with ml system if that helps
