price paid for clear bra film
for those of us that don't have clear bra aka protective film installed yet and are wondering what the average price paid. please share:
what coverage you have? full hood or not?
how much paid out the door?
Xpel film or suntek?
I was quoted $1900 for full hood, fender, bumper, headlights and side mirrors. Xpel film with 10 year warranty.
another quote I received, $900 for 24 inch hood, bumper, and side mirrors. Xpel film.
happy holidays

I paid $1660 for expel on the front bumper, full hood, front quarter panels, mirrors, and A pillars. I went right to the installer as opposed to working through the dealer.

At the Lexus dealership for Xpel Bra, it was
$1100 for just front and rear bumper
$1500 for front hood and both bumpers
I got only the front and rear bumper done, I felt like I didn't need anything else. I called another place and they offered me 700, but I didn't want to drive over there after picking up my car and possible chipping the paint on the way.

Xpel Ultimate on front bumper, full hood, full fenders, and both side mirrors w/ 10 year warranty: $1,898. The job was completed by an authorized installer rather than the Lexus dealership.

I've noticed clear bras seem to be more popular with Lexus owners than on other car forums I've visited over the years.
Are Lexus more prone to rock chips than other cars? Paint issues perhaps?

I have no idea why you would ask that. You can google up "Audi/BMW/Merecedez Benz clearbra" and there are plenty of forum members saying it is a necessity.

I have a quote for full hood (edges wrapped), full fenders (edges wrapped where possible), full bumper, lights, mirrors, door cups, door edges, and trunk ledge for much less than the quote you received. I can't comment on his work since my IS hasn't been delivered yet, but from other forums, folks have been very pleased with his work; he receives lots of referrals.
I am not affiliated with his business
