Default Try to get Rays 57xtreme 19" on my 2015 IS200T

Hello everyone,
It's IS200t owner from Taiwan!
Recently I'm planning to get Rays 57xtreme 19" rims on my 3IS, which 19*8.5/et38 (face2) in the front and 19*9.5/et35 or 43 (face2 as well) for rear. Is there anyone could share experience about the face2 et38 setting in the front could be mounted without stucking the oem f-sport caliper or not? (*Spacers installed are not considered.) Thanks for reply anyway. :-D <br >

19x8.5 et38 will fit the front. If you're planning on lowering your car, then go with et43 for the rear to avoid rubbing issues.

Nice wheels! What are your wheel specs, does it rub in the front or rear? I'm planning on lowering my car with RSR Half Down, but afraid it will rub when going over a dip.

No rubbing so far. Tried taking it down a bumpy road also tried doing full lock.

I compressed the standard springs so I could chose the height myself.

As it sits, 1inch in the front and 3/4inch rears.

What's your wheel specs? Do you mind explaining a little bit more of your suspension. Did you adjust the stock suspension or aftermarket coilovers? I'm surprise you're nor rubbing the plastic liner in the front.

Australia spec FSports come with active suspension so I didn't want to lose out on that by changing it to coilovers. Plus I also didn't want to go aftermarket springs because I was worried about the ride quality.

So the wheel shop suggested I simply get my factory springs compressed. Advantage of going down this path was that you can lower the car to any reasonable (suitable) height.

In my case I did not want a slammed look. Wanted something that looked lowered and still appeared standard to a certain point. The best thing is the ride quality is pretty much same as factory.

Factory Aus spec vehicle specification is
Front Rim: 225/40 R18
Rear Rim: 255/35 R18

I originally wanted stretched 275 for rears but the wheel shop couldn't guarantee it won't rub so they recommended simply going for 255.

Thanks for the clarification. I really wish mine came with the active suspension, it would save a ton of money. One of the members on here still rubbed with 255/30R20 rear tires so I'm just doing a lot of research to find out what's the best method.

I'm currently running 20" Vossen VLE-1 with stock suspension and no rub, but I really want a mild drop to get rid of the gap.

Front
20x9.0 +32
225/35R20

Rear
20x10.5 + 45
275/30R20
