For the last two days I have been experimenting with Siri via the bluetooth. It works pretty well and recognize all the commands like Siri Eyes Free. You must turn on activate siri by voice in setting (Hey Siri) and plug in the phone before driving. While you are driving simply say "Hey Siri" and speak the commands.

Another advantage of plugging in the phone is the music sound quality vs streaming over bluetooth.

Some of us have iPod error message when plugging in to USB port in the car and can't play music. But it doesn't have this problem if we used cig lighter power.

The IPOD error occurs when it switches between wifi, LTE, 4G, and edge. I was able to replicate the issue. This is a bug on the IOS. So basically stay with bluetooth for the music and use the USB just for charging so the interactive Siri is active.

Mine won't let me stream with bluetooth once I plugged in the USB. It would say iPod error and music would stopped.
