Default Best time of the year to buy tires

I have about 9,200 miles so far and I was planning on buying Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires for my IS 350 AWD (it's a F-Sport). My question is when is the best time during the year to buy them? Thanks in advance.

I know Discount Tire usually has big sales Memorial, July 4th, and Labor Day. Something along the lines of $100 off if you purchase 4 tires.

Cash always seems like the best time to buy them. Usually Discount or American's tires will lower it about 20-30% if paid in cash.

Call around, get your best out the door price (even internet prices) and take it to Discount Tire. They will beat it or match it. I have done this several times and I've gotten my last 6 or 7 sets of tires from them. Nice thing about them is if you don't like the tire you can take it back and switch it out.

I work at a tire shop. If you are looking for the best deals, buy tires in the winter time. Many people don't know but we have black friday deals as well. You can always negotiate with the big name tire shops too so don't let them push you around.

Discount Tire Direct. They have good prices, offer free shipping, and sometimes even throw in a rebate debit card on qualifying purchases.

You can then sign up with fatwallet.com and get another 3% in cash back.

They used to do the penny rule, but not they use quarters.

Discount tire really isnt that much different pricewise from even Tire Rack. And If you buy from discount you get free pro rated road hazard. I dont even bother buying full replacement road hazard anymore

You are looking for summer tires , so buy them in the winter . Many people will want a winter tires and dealers want to get rid of the summer tires before they receive new sets the following summer , also the tires will be considered old.
