Anyone know if Lexus Canada allows custom orders to have the memory seats and rain sensing wipers installed? I've ordered my new 2015 Lexus IS AWD F-Sport Series 3 package and was extremely disappointed when they didn't make these two features available. I see many cases when people would want to combine the Luxury and F-Sport packages.

Anyone know if custom orders would be granted or if they even do such a thing?

A custom order does not allow you to configure a car outside the confines of the available option packages. In other words, some items, like memory seats, are not available on North American F Sports, whether they are custom ordered or not. Lexus does not allow this kind of a la carte ordering, unfortunately.

Such an oversight on their part and I'm sure the 2016 models will have it but really don't want to wait

In Dubai you can get park assist, memory seats, etc on an Fsport, so it must be possible for a dealer to get it to work with any car. A dealer might be willing to find out if you were a repeat customer. I was offered a custom paint job on my IS that could be financed.

Ya with memory seats and park assist in Dubai but it isn't fully loaded (RES,LDA, PCS & HIDs), However in Oman and KSA you get it fully loaded with remote starter and PCS etc..

From observation the agency in Dubai brings the IS Fsport in Platinum package while Oman and KSA agencies bring it in Platinum+ package which is what I got from Oman.

All options work on the IS Fsport, it's just Lexus strange decision to limit the specs per package for some countries.

Custom paint job from factory? Very unlikely in other countries. Not even when you order one in Japan from Lexus Japan. So probably it is probably a paint job done by the local dealership/body shop in Dubai.

I live in the SF Bay Area, and yes I'm sure the dealer would contract the work locally
