why are there no IS350's in most asian countries?
I'm based in South East Asia, Brunei to be exact. They only sell the IS 250's here which I currently own. Everytime I come around here seeing comments on how slow the IS250's are, it just really angers me that my country doesnt sell the 350's. I asked the dealer before i got my car and he told me about gas in my country is not compatible with the 350s engine. but the funny thing is, they have the GS250 and 350's!, are the engines of the GS350 not the same as IS350?

very true, i was a reading an article earlier, and the author was saying how if an IS350 is to be introduced to the market, it narrows the price between the GS350, where with the GS you get more space/quality/comfort. So, keeping the IS250 in the market makes sense, commercially. fuc that!

another reason for this is most countries tax import cars according to the engine size (cc), higher the cc higher tax. This is also one of the reason why many car companies are adding turbos.

I remember reading somewhere that IS300h isn't offered in the North America because it competes with CT Hybrid.
I'd rather have IS350, I care more about driving experience than mileage performance. IS300h is marketed to a different set of customer base.

So the CT isn't sold outside the US that has the IS300h?
