Regarding Lexus-supplied wheel locks, the dealership where I conduct business lost the key to the OEM wheel locks on my '08 IS-F. The dealer was very prompt in replacing the key. The service advisor came out with a box containing may 15 to 20 keys. He selected one at random until he found one that fit my locks and gave it to me.

My point is that OEM Lexus locks have a very limited number of "combinations" and any thief worth his salt probably has one of each of them. Lexus locks are not that safe and you need to try an aftermarket solution.

That's not really the problem. All you have to do is use a socket slightly smaller than the wheel lug lock, hammer it on so the adapter bites into the lug nut, and simply unscrew it like a regular lug nut. Only takes maybe an extra minute to remove all the locks.

With the gorilla locks this can't be done since there's a sleeve that covers the lug nut. So they'd have to find another way to get them off. Not impossible but it would probably take longer.

if you want the gorilla guards, the wheel lock with the spinning sleeve. I think the correct Gorilla part number is 63631. The Acorn one 61631 I don't think is correct.

Where do you get these Gorilla wheel locks? Doesn't seem like you can order them on their website. Amazon??

Nope. Just as prone to theft as any other wheel lock.

The difference is that no one on here with stolen wheels appears to have had Gorilla locks. Common theme, McGuard!

Damn, that really sucks . So sorry that you have to deal with this. I can feel your pain. Years ago when I was living in the SF Bay Area I woke up to my old Mustang sitting on a few milk crates, so I know exactly how you feel. You'll get your baby fixed up soon enough, and the scum bags who did this will eventually get theirs one way or the other...
