Thanks everyone for your compliments. Although I drove my wife's F30 335i for the last year, the 3IS has nothing to envy. It's muchhhh more fun to drive and stable on the road. I love my 3IS much more!
Plus that color... oh my... pictures don't do it justice!

Everytime someone posts a thread of a new USB IS, I get so angry all over again at Lexus for banning the color in the U.S. Just enjoy what you have, because there are a million people across the pond who have to put up with some far-sited corporate decision that makes zero sense.

Hi all!
A little background
So I'm 29 and I've been an IS fan since the first generation came to North America (Altezza). I remember I was in my first year of high school (or 7th grade for americans) and I was dreaming about that car. I even bought two 1:18 AutoArt models of the IS300 just like this one!
Fast forward 12 years, in 2013, we got my wife her 335i (after debating and test driving extensively between the 335 and the IS350); I was still driving my 2006 Civic!

And then this year I finally got my dream come true! After a 2-months wait my IS350 came in. It's a RWD, mind you, so very, very rare in Canada, especially in USB! It's got the Premium Package. It's my first new-car ever, and my first Lexus. My previous cars were a Protege and a Civic, so it's a HUGE difference!
The day the dealership got it (my brother works there!)
The day I went to get it!
I'm privileged enough to have a (covered) semi-private parking spot at work where nobody else parks their car, and my car is literally 5 meters (15 feet) away from me. I can see it from a window just by turning my head!
I don't even have to move!
This is what I see when I look from the window This was last night.
Today was a rainy day
but I still snapped a nice picture at a friend's house
Sorry for crappy pictures! This car looks even better in real life. I can't believe how well the blue compliments it. It's a definite head turner. I already got a thumbs up from a trucker on the highway!

Car coating such as Cquartz ( go for CQUK if you go for DIY route and it suits better for Canadian weather) should make it shine even better and stay good.

Since it's leased I chose not to Opti-Coat it but I went to a local professional detailer (who works on high-end cars) and bought the wax he uses. I waxed it... should be good for around 4-6 months according to him. That takes me to fall.
Off-topic : I left my car at my brother's place for 2 weeks while I was away and whenever he drove it he said it was a real headturner! So happy I waited the extra 2 months to get the color I want!

I absolutely love the colour! When I picked my car up there was a USB in the delivery bay, and it was gorgeous. Especially after a nice polish. Congrats on your purchase, drive her in good health!
