This is a very common scam at many dealerships. I am familiar with this package that was sold to you. Nothing will be replaced unless it is non-functional. They will simply clean it to the best of their ability. It will look like crap but it will still function so they will deny replacement.
You should have taken your car to a reputable detailer for a similar package at a reduced price.
If you feel good about what you paid then more power to you. I'm not judging you. I'm sharing my experience.

Maybe so, but to have a 5 year replacement on everything is worth about $400 at least to me. But who knows, maybe complete BS. I'll let everyone know as time goes on.
Like I said before, cQuartz is definitely the way to go if you're looking for the best of the best - but what really sold me was everything in the interior + the warranty

Thanks for the info...I will be better informed to haggle the price down,,,knowing it is way overpriced at 800.00....I'll probally just skip this wax job anyway

Agreed, especially if you are leasing the car. They will charge you for a 5yr warranty on a car you will have for only 2-3 years. Then, when they re-sell the car after you turn it in, they will charge the new person again to get it done, even though the warranty is still in tact on it. Double income for the dealer for a job only done once and more than likely only for $30-$50 their cost.

Besides the poor product being used, you should stay away from dealership "detailers" for the well known fact that the vast majority of them will cause more damage to the car.
As a professional, I spend a lot of time fixing mistakes made by dealership and body shop detailers. They are usually undertrained, underpaid, and lack the true knowledge of the art of detailing.

Regarding the OP's statement that the dealership product is "basically CQuartz" you are incorrect. CQuartz is a silica (ie glass / quartz) based ceramic coating that provides years of durable protection to your vehicle. The key to these products, however, is that all of the work is in the prep. At a minimum, the vehicle should be thoroughly washed, then decontaminated, then polished, the surface then needs to be stripped to prep for coating installation, and then the coating can be applied. This time intensive process is what warrants the high price tag from a true detailing expert.
The topic of warranty has been brought up several times in this thread... there are professional coating products (ie coatings that are not available to consumers, only authorized professionals) that carry warranties. CQuartz Finest is one of those products. This is not the same as the basic CQuartz coating. Finest is thicker, harder, glossier, more resistant to contamination, and includes a 2 year limited warranty. Opti-Coat Pro is another product that can be purchased with an optional 5 year, or in some instances lifetime, warranty.
These modern coatings are much more advanced than the dated Simoniz products, but the true advantage is the person installing them... ie a true detailing professional.
**It should also be noted that PPF and paint coatings DO NOT share the same goal... they are completely different products that were designed for entirely different reasons. I can elaborate if needed.

at the end of the deal, we were setting signing contract and noticed $10.00 per month more and I asked the guy why?? and he said, they added paint protection BS without asking my permission. I told him, type up another contract cuz, I don't want this BS. sneaky dealership people.

Mine also tried to do that with my lease contract, but not the appearance package crap. It was the maint and the PDR warranty. I said no thank you to the maint as I change my own oil, but got them to throw in the PDR for $100 total cost. Any time I get a ding or a dent, the PDR company they are contracted with will remove it whenever I want. It only covers any ding/dent that does not crack the paint and can be removed using a PDR system. So simple door dings and small dents will be ok.
