Default Navigation ISSUES Poll UPDATE!

Hey all,

Im doing a Poll to see who out their is still having these navigation issues & other issues , since the latest 8500 update! My local dealership wants to get a report on how bad it really is. Please Vote!!

That 561Lexus Reported Back on 9/29/13 See Below:

Hey all,

Thought I would let you know the issues with the navigation system have been resolved by Lexus.

If you are experiencing any of the following:

•Unit reboots at times when using various navigation/Bluetooth® operations.
• Display turns black or white, freezes, flashes, or is slow to respond.
• Intermittently cannot play Pandora® or iHeartRadio, Bluetooth® Audio, DVD, or iPod.
• Bluetooth® functions are inoperative or cannot change to Phone screen.
• Erroneous navigation guidance or operation, or cannot set destinations.
• Cursor is not shown, freezes, turns black, or is slow to respond.
• Incorrect pop-up menus or pop-ups that continue to be shown.
• Blinking button(s) on various audio/Bluetooth® screens.
• Cannot use customized images or other settings.
• Cannot select applications from the HOME screen using the cursor.
• XM Satellite Radio presets not displayed.

A TSIB has been released by Lexus as of a couple of days ago. Dealers should be receiving the USB Drives with the update on it.

Lexus has a Case for these issues under Case Number TA140150172 please mention it to your local dealers

Thanks.

Here An Example of mine frozen on the Call End Screen Serval minutes after the call was ended! I had to restart the vehicle just for it to clear off my screen!

I'm livin' life, reboot by reboot (2nd radio didn't cure the problem). Still awaiting the cure...

Sometimes I have to log out and back into the Enform app on my phone to get the app suite to work, but thankfully, no issues yet like rebooting, hanging up, etc. Mostly, it's just a bit slow to respond to inputs.

Just updated to 8400.Pandora still does not work unless I start iheart radio first then Pandora streams fine. Haven't seen blue screen flashes yet with 8400. Nav turn screen on center gauge seems to be fixed with 8400.

Gosh I feel to bad for you guys. My nav works fine (after update) except that it is still a bit slow and it's not just the nav feature, the entire radio/nav system can be slow. It's especially slow when you use lexus app. Also here in southern california, the darn radio just keeps switching from "HD" to non HD and you can definitely hear the change when it happens. My brothers 2IS never had this issue. Lexus completely dropped the ball on the 3IS radio/nav system.

I received a lexus feedback email and I gave the radio/nav section the lowest possible rating in hopes that it will be fixed for good in the future.

This is what happens when you throw too many features without backing them up with proper processing power.
