Default Does new suspension void all warranty?

I was wondering if anyone know if getting new suspension will void all warranty on the car.

Or is it specifically just the shocks and springs?

the modification has to be the direct cause of the failure for a warranty claim to be denied. It doesnt void the entire car.

Keep in mind what 4TehNguyen said, but I'd be surprised if it hit the dealer's radar, even if you slam the car. Suspension changes are common upgrades and they shouldn't raise anyone's eyebrows.

I guess if you drop your car way low and F up a cat converter while going into a gas station, you can't claim warranty for that lol.

If you drop your car on springs, and the shocks fail... dont expect warranty to pay for it. Other than that, what everyone else said is correct... they have to prove the modification was the cause of the failure in order to deny warranty.

I heard dealers usually claim bad shocks(stock) as wear and tear anyway...

they will usually goodwill the repair if the car is only a year old or so.. the warranty on shocks are 1 year though.
