Same here, I'm getting 18.9 over and over. Which is fine... way better than my 300 hp camaro was back in the day.

I have a 2016 IS350 Fsport RWD, 12k miles, 75/25 city and I average a measly 19-20mpg. The highest I've gotten is 27-28mpg all highway. Not very impressive but I still absolutely love driving this thing.

2nd gen at 54,xxx
Last fuel ups, 60/40 city/hwy cept on trip
IS-350 MPG range/ refill gallons
297/14.4 = 20.63
327.6/12.66 = 25.87
284/12.83 = 22.13
293.6/13.6 = 21.58

Two prior cars both 3.0 V6 got the same MPG. Funny is the 95 Camry 1MZ-FE did it with a 4spd Auto. 2006 Mazda 6 w/6spd auto had 225hp/197tq. So to grab another 80'ish HP and get the same MPG, all is well. Interesting is the 3IS with its 8spd didn't advance much in mpgs...

Resurrecting an old thread

On a 2014 IS F-Sport, I'm averaging around 22-23 MPG (city/highway at 36PSI per tire) in hilly terrain (western PA). I drive like an old man in a hat (very slow).

After what I thought was poor mpg, I cut my hair shorter... stopped breathing when I drive...eat nothing before getting in the car... make sure to pass all gas and have a BM before driving... cut my finger nails short... switched to lighter clothing and shoes... lost 25lbs...wear no underwear or socks...and still, the mpg remains stuck at around 22-23!! I also removed the spare (~25lbs)! Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgh!

On Infiniti's, you can reset the ECU to reprogram it to relearn your driving style (this was started by them ~ 15 years ago), can this be done on the Lexus safely and will this be helpful with mpg?

IS200t, average (calculated) 19.9mpg. i drive hard.

I can get around 33-34mpg highway around 70-75. w/ ac on. managed 50mpg though one time hypermiling, trying hard @ 55-60mph. that was over an 80 mile trip or so in eco mode. was windy so i believe i had a tail wind.

That's actually pretty good for city. After a long weekend trip, 1st one in the car, I got 30.9 highway at 65 with AC on. City is around 18mpg. The terrain is hilly with potholes and poor roads everywhere, so that's a variable. In the Nebraska flatlands, if I could muster the courage to live there, it might be 32-35. This isn't bad, it rivals my wife's RAV4 hybrid on the highway.

I also get horrible gas mileage but can't seem to get an answer out of the dealership. This is after having an induction service performed, all four tires replaced and all brakes/rotors replaced. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Do a test on the highway. Fill up your tank, do 50 mi on the highway and fill up again. Compute actual mpg. Should be close to EPA estimates or something wrong with your car.

2014 IS350 F Sport AWD

80% city getting 17-18 MPG driving in ECO mostly and redlining a few times per week. 36 psi cold, Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ stock F sport sizes, and fuel using Shell 91 exclusively.

12.2 mpg is 19.6L/100km... I’m getting 12.6L per 100km.... your getting 50% worst mileage in the same car as I am. Somethings obviously wrong no clue what though, good luck!

Oof, that's even lower than what I am getting in my AWD car with mostly city driving. Sitting at about 19 MPG right now.
