Post Need Exhaust for is250 awd (2014)

Looking to get rid of this quiet stock exhaust on my is250 awd. The louder the better but nothing obnoxious. Looking for something like flow master or magna flow? Looking for a catback most likely but open to everything.

THANKS!

for the 2014, you pretty much have to get mufflers and have a shop weld them in right now. Its still early so not a ton of companies have released an exhaust yet for the 2014. I think lexus F-Sport exhaust is the only exhaust out now (dont quote me, could be more, gotta do your research) and its upwards of $1500 for it. Other than them, its all custom mufflers that are out there

Custom Magnaflow axle-back is what I got done and could not be happier with the throaty sound at just the right sound volume (for me). Was around 900$ all parts and labor and it was built like a bolt-on so I can remove it and bolt back on myself the stock ones. There is a bolt-on axel-back now available from Magnaflow for about the same price. If you want to make it louder, remove the stock resonators (replace with straight-pipe) or replace them with 4" Magnaflow resonators or any other aftermarket ones.

See this thread for the build and videos of the car revving and accelerating. If you like it and don't want to break your head researching, all parts/numbers are listed:

Another video of my car under normal acceleration:

Good luck!

No, I havent had time to do it, I installed the axle back GTC exhaust the day before Christmas. driving around the town is awesome. Minmial drone on the highway around 2500 RPM.

The day after the Christmas, I called in again and ordered the midpipe, I am waiting for it to get installed. Once I finish the whole cat back system, I will make some sound clips.

Perhaps Lexus should adopt the Harley-Davidson model of slip-fit mufflers. You could easily fit mufflers based on the sound desired. Lexus could provide several mufflers for tuning and yet allow for after market mufflers. However, you could possibly void the manufacturer warranty using after market mufflers.
