Anyway, not sure what the OP is specifically referring to. There's no such thing as a semi-annual demo sale if that's what you're thinking. Dealers generally sell demos whenever they can; in many cases they are NOT easy to move.

It was a sign that said "Semi Annual Sale of Loaner and Demo Cars". I went into the dealership today to inquire. It's what 4TehNguyen had said. They sell their Loaners/Demo as CPO.
I'll quote what they told me: "Whatever internet price is listed is the lowest we'll will go". The salesman said "If you'll drive it off tonight, we'll knock off $500 but if you're thinking $3000 we can't do that"

You should be getting a discount from invoice otherwise it's not worth it and you can just buy a brand new car at invoice. If it's CPO, you usually get extended warranty though. I'm not sure how Lexus does it, but BMW and MB give an extra two years of warranty, albeit without covering electronics and other minor things (ie. the most likely things to fail) that the factory warranty does cover. I still wouldn't pay the same as I would for a new car. Demos have some hard miles on them.

Two years ago, there was a deal for employees to get used Lexus for 50% off or something like that if I recall my brother in law stating it right. But last year there was no such a deal. Either way, you probably do not want to buy an abused demo/loaner car anyways.
