Hi guys, I am new to CL.
Just picked up my 3IS AWD this month. I am currently interested in getting the Vossen CVT wheels on my Lexus. But before I order the set, I just have a few questions that need to be answered.

1. Do I need to roll fender in order to make the 20" wheels fit on our 3IS?

2. I have the stock suspension and do I have to lower my IS in order to fit the wheels?

3. What are the tire specs if I choose the Vossen CVT wheels?

4. Do I have tire pressure warning light on after I install the wheels?

I never modified stock wheels before, so I hope people can help me out here! Thanks in advance!

Hey congrats on the new ride and welcome to CL.

If your planning to run a staggered setup and lower the car on springs and also use a semi stretch tire setup no fender rolling would be required.

2. I have the stock suspension and do I have to lower my IS in order to fit the wheels?

If it not required but looks better when the car is lowered.

3. What are the tire specs if I choose the Vossen CVT wheels?

20x9 ET38 - with 225/30 or 235/30
20x10.5 ET45 - with 255/30

4. Do I have tire pressure warning light on after I install the wheels?

All Vossen wheels are tpms compatible, so if you have your sensors taken out of your stock wheels they will work on the Vossens and you will not get a warning light.

I'm looking at trying to find out the same info. I also drive an fsport Awd. One problem with the Awd is you have to keep the ratio between the front and rear tires similar or you risk interfering with the Awd system. The factory tires have a 0.2% difference from front to back. I've asked my dealer if he could dig up some info on what's acceptable without affecting the Awd. Using a tire calculator I've found that 235/30r20 and 275/25r20 only have .5% difference from front to back. I couldn't tell you if those sizes would fit the car without any modifications.

You are right, I never thought about that! I do not want to give up performance is it interferes AWD system on our cars.

I talked to Rick @ Wheels Performance, and he told me that if I do not want the staggered set. (which may involve roll rear fender), then I could possibly go with 20x9 on all four wheels (no roll fender needed). I don't know what it would look like, and but this sounds like it will use the same tire in the front as well as rear. Maybe this could be a solution?

like I told jnj above, I never thought about if it would interfere AWD system, I have to do more research on that before I can make decision.

The lugs nuts im using are Muteki SR48 in the Neo Chrome finish

Please share any info you find out and I will do the same as I really want to put a set of Vossens on my car.

Just got another e-mail from Rick saying that for 20x9 all round setup, the tire spec should be 245/30/20 all round. No modifications need whatsoever. You could even lower it moderately with out a problem of rubbing.

If I were in the South, I would do the exact set up like yours. But up in the North, especially in Wisconsin, the road condition is horrible due to all the snows and construction we get here. I really want to use RSR coil over , but if I do so, I would destroy my front lip...

One more question sire, are these lug 12x1.5 or 12x1.25? I was trying to find them on the ebay, but I noticed there are two different sepcs..
