OK, I'm gonna meet with my local dealer in the next week or so to iron out the details on a factory order for a 2014 IS. I've negotiated the price via email and hopefully they will honor it. It's going to take 4 months to order and I want to ensure I'm covering all my bases. Here is my configuration:

2014 IS350 RWD

Ultra White/Roja Red
F-Sport
Nav/Mark Levinson
BSM/Rear cross traffic
PCS/Radar Cruise
VGRS
Rear bumper applique

MSRP as configured is $48,720.

I'm also planning to purchase a 3M clear bra after delivery.

Am I missing something? Anything else I should consider? I've special ordered cars before, but never a Lexus.

if you want to save some money i know where there are 2 of the exact car ready for sale as used corporate demo, you won't get anything below invoice as a special order trust me.

Better order that color combo soon it is a limited production run in the IS350 in that color scheme. Least that is what two Lexus dealers told me. Mine is not getting any more in at all. Guessing the only way you can get it in that combo now is ordering it.

i dont think that's the case.. there are a bunch of dealer allocated ones that are white/red.

At least for this month, a FULLY LOADED one (with PCS/BSM/VGRS/Sunshade) doesnt come in white/red but i'm sure next month will have it again. (go to lexus.com > build > IS > Fsport (has 2 different combos of fsport)

- BSM/Levinson/Fsport (all colors)
- BSM/Levinson/Fsport/VGRS/PCS/Sunshade (nebula/obsidian/silver)

that's for this month though.. next month will probably change.
