Default Roof Racks?

Just bought a 350 AWD F-Sport and want to add a roof rack. I checked with Yakima and Thule, and both sites say nothing available yet. Anyone else look into it?

I road and mountain bike and would like to be able to throw them on the roof, especially a muddy mountain bike. My snowboards I can pass through the trunk with the fold down seats so that isn't a huge deal.

Check out this thread. I see reference to one in there. Good luck!

I have actually been speaking with Whispbar and they have a 3IS roof rack system in the works.

I may be getting one for my car.

Nice! I'm coming out of a 2006 4Runner and everything fit nicely in the back with the seats folded down, no so much in the IS.

I really like the built in mounts that most euro cars have, even saw that system on some Subarus.

What is the length of those round bars?
Also was it easy to install?

They are cut to 48in, it was 58in originally and I didn't like how much they were sticking out so I got a pipe cutter at home depot. Some people like having bigger bars because you can fit more accessories on it but I felt like a diesel owner with his tow mirrors out because I kept running into it. It wasn't too hard to install the rack you just follow the instructions and look up the specifications for your car on the yakima website. Just be sure to take your time and remeasure a lot, because if you install it uneven or mess up the measurements the rack scratches your roof.
