Default Help me with the temperature control?

Winter is coming, and I want to keep the cabin warm while I'm driving. However, every time I increase the temperature up a bit, the windshield will fog up immediately. So, when I turn on the de-fog, the heat switches to cool air in the cabin. How do I keep my cabin warm and at the same time defog the windshield?

We need more info when the windshield fogs up

-What is your temp setting?
-Was the the air recirculating?
-what mode is it set to?
-how many people are in the car?

To avoid the windows from fogging up and to keep the car at a comfortable temperature here are the settings I have during most of winter.

-80 degrees
-Recirculate off
-Air blowing on the floor and windshield along with the vents nexts to the doors. Don't confuse these vents with the ones designed to defog the door windows.

FYI, my settings are the following:
- about 68 degrees
- yes, air recirculating is on
- manual mode, no auto
- usually two people in the car, including me.

In the winter I turn the recirculating air off and allow the fresh air.

Make sure you have the A/C on, or recirc off. If you have the A/C off and recirc on, the windows will fog up.

My settings are simple and work perfect for me" Auto on, 73 degrees.
