Default 3IS traction control "not completely off"??

Hi all 3IS owners.. so i keep reading somewhere that the 3IS traction control OFF doesn't mean its completely off.

Even after holding down the Traction control off for 3 seconds and disabling Traction / stability, does the traction control still "sort of" kick in? It was in latest F-sport test drive article on CL.

Is this the case or did the drivers not know about holding it down for 3-5 seconds to completely turn it off?

Never heard of that - and coming from someone who took the 3IS out on a track during a Lexus drive event, turning it off for us meant we could easily fishtail the end through hairpins. If it's still not "completely off", it's off enough to have fun in.
