Default COMPREHENSIVE LIST of settings dealers can modify...

The following post suggests dealers can change the audible volume of the turn signal / blinker sound; something I’d like to do!

http://www.clublexus.com/forums/8112239-post21.html

But before I bring my car in for same, I’d like to know in what other ways dealers can ‘customize’ our vehicle settings. If anyone has any to share, I’m all ears.

Thanks!

Also as I was looking through the online manual it stated you get first two maintenance free from Lexus.

I read they can also change the first level blinking to 3, 5 or 7 blinks.

INTERESTING!!!

The dealer I took delivery from is not the closest one to me, but included coupons for the first two maintenance visits to be free. I asked if I can use the coupons at any dealer and they said no (the dealers name was printed on them). But what you're saying is that Lexus itself (corporate) includes the first two maintenance visits free anyway? Do you have a link to the online manual – where it says this - by chance?

THANKS (great exchange of info here)!

I was looking for online manual and found this document. I believe you probably got it with your printed manuals.

https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...manual-search#

Look at page 4 of the "2014 IS350: Warranty and Services Guide (pdf)". It didn't say anything about having to go to the purchasing dealer.

Also for anyone looking for 3IS manual before it arrives this is good place to find them!
