Default Lexus IS-350 A/C is weak.....

Can't even tell it's on. Yes I feel air, but it's not even that cold. Compared to my 7 year old G35, the G35 has a much colder AC.

I got the setting set all the way down to "LO". Still not cold at all. It's slightly colder than the fan itself.

Doesn't sound normal for any A/C. Better have the dealer check!

Not normal, unless you're in Eco mode which reduces the AC output...

My AC freezes my **** off. Sounds like yours is broken or you don't have the A/C button pressed (Id assume this is the case)

During my brief test drive I thought the A/C were very effective.

What do you mean LO? Turning the fan down isn't the same as turning the temperature down. You probably know that...

Put it on Auto and tick the temperature down until it gives you the cold air you're looking for. I usually run at 73 degrees and turn it up or down a notch or two. If I need to cool off quickly, I flip it down to 67-68, then go back up into the 70s once the temperature is right.

When the temp is all the way down it says "LO".

There's obviously something wrong -- I had 4 people in my IS250 today on a hot sunny/windy day in southern California and my daughter told me to turn the AC down as it was too cold.

This might be the reason. I'll test it out

Something must be wrong...

I live in 35 C weather all year (or 95 F) and never felt that the IS aircon was insufficient.

Without any passengers, I will set it at 22C with 1 bar only most of the time.

I think the IS aircon even cools faster than my RX.

Even in Eco mode the AC does the job in the Austin heat. You must be doing something wrong.
