Setting up messaging with is250 f-sport
"You may need to operate your device to allow messaging" when I sync my iPhone 5 up to it..is there any reason why I can't get messaging to set up!?? I get no pop up notification on my iPhone..

WELP!!! I don't think anyone has a fix for this yet? Messages do not work in an is250 f-sport .... iPhone 5 should work yet it doesn't. The sales guy told me Lexus is having issues with the iPhone, but I am still curious of this!

On the Navigation System
1. Press the "Menu" button.
2. Select "Setup"
3. Select "Bluetooth"
4. Select "Add"
5. Enter or confirm passkey if prompted by phone.
On the Phone
1. Select "Settings" from the main menu.
2. Select "Bluetooth"
3. Ensure Bluetooth is ON.
4. Select "Car Multimedia"
5. Enter the PIN or confirm the passkey shown on the vehicle display.
6. Select "OK" or "Pair" if necessary.
After the initial pairing is completed, and if applicable to your multimedia system, enable messaging features by accessing the phone's Bluetooth menu.
First, select the ">" symbol to the right of the paired multimedia system's name that is currently showing Connected, and turn on "Show Notifications"
Then, disconnect/reconnect the phone using the multimedia system's controls.

It worked for me on my IOS7 4S -- I had to remove my initial pairing then re-paired the Iphone -- then following "show notifications" it worked -- rec'ving text now
