So I consider myself pretty smart and I just got my f-sport and I tried to program Homelink with my genie motor and am not having success..I follow the manual thoroughly and it does not work!!! Can anyone assist?

Describe the process/steps you performed. Is your garage opener a rolling code opener, if so did you did you press the learn/train button on the actual opener itself?

Okay,

I first tried putting the garage door remote 1 inch from the Homelink button and hold both at the same time until the light flashes rapidly. I then tried clearing the codes by holding the outside buttons and then tried it again with just holding the Homelink button until it flashed slowly and then hold the garage door opener until it blinked rapidly and then let go.

I then tried hitting the program button on my garage door motor and holding down the first Homelink button for 1 second and letting go right after that 3-4 times and still noting!


That's my garage door motor and I just can't figure this out help!!

By the way...took me forever, but figured it out LOL!!!!!!! my garage remote had to be set in program mode first...if anyone has any difficulty with this, feel free to message me!
