DIY - LED Puddle Lights? Anyone Done This?

I just did this mod over the weekend, the bulb rests horizontally on the casing's side. You see that white casing? The palm is where the light will shine through but the bulb will go in horizontally as you see in the above pic.

that means flank bulbs would be best right?
i will use my flank bulbs from my 2IS

Does someone know the actual size/type of bulb that is being used? I can't find that info anywhere and would rather take apart the side mirror after I purchased the LEDs.

Where do you buy the HID bulbs at for the reverse light and puddle lights at?

You should consider getting them as a package.
I got the full interior/exterior (minus headlights) upgrade for $140. If you want to upgrade your exterior lights, you gotta upgrade your interiors! The MCR frozen white LED package was the perfect touch and brightness I was looking for. Here's the link, hope that helps!

Yes bro. I did the install and that led would have all four of the leds pointing downwards at the ground which seems perfect for puddle lights.
would you by any chance have pics of the light bulbs in action to see the brightness?
i would love super bright puddle light leds and those look perfect.
