The "pull" from the fabric on the side walls is not as aggressive as the fabrics on the trunk floor.
Another way to fix that is to cover the velco at the back of the First Aid kit and Owner's manuals and so prevent it from pulling the fabrics on the trunk floor.
I believe thee two items vary from country to country in terms of the design. So it is region-specific.

Despite this location seems to be the right place for either the First Aid kit or the Owner's manuals , I have refrained myself from doing this ------ both the Canadian version of First Aid kit and Owner's manuals' have velco at the back and if you pull them from where you put it more often, you will end up a lot of lint/fibers pulled from the fabric. I put both on the side walls of the trunk --- one on each side.

I have my first aid kit stuck to the side wall on the opposite end, but I thought that the owner's manuals were too heavy to stick (with enthusiastic/sporty driving lol). But good point on the lint/fibers getting pulled - might have to cover the velcro. Thanks for the tip!
Probably de-Velcro by putting covering the tabs up is a more reliable way.

Holy EFF!!! I just had a revelation in my car. This whole time I have been using the mouse to change from Bluetooth to my phone cord and it takes forever. I accidentally pressed mode with my thumb today and found out it changes sources. I feel like a total idiot for not knowing this before.
There is seriously WAAAAY too much technology in cars these days. And they say texting and driving is bad.

Don't know if this has been mentioned or is even a 'discovery' since this is my first Lexus, but I noticed that the bottom of the cup holders comes out to make cleaning much easier. I've owned lots of cars, never seen that before.
