Interesting Little Details Discoveries Thread (Good or Bad)

Here's a pleasant discovery. As I powered off my car and was exiting, the car warned me a window was opened. It was an audible ding accompanied by the visual warnings (words and yellow exclamation) displayed on the dash. What was just as impressive was the sensitivity of the warning system. I looked around and the rear left was down barely a quarter inch and it was detected. Nice!

In Canada, my car came with it. I saw another post where someone ordered it from Sewell so it surprised me when I saw my 3IS came with it. Pic doesn't lie!
Curious to know if that's not the case in the US... (we also get the all-season rubber mats standard which I believe you don't)

Not really discoveries but curious as to what settings people have changed to make the car more enjoyable (e.g. the ECO setting above)...
Made some other changes but these are the ones that stand out the most to me.
The mouse still snaps to option choices but it's FAR better now. More like an actual mouse than before. The haptic feedback was the worst.
Still trying to figure out why sometimes music from my phone will play really loud in one drive (get by with volume of 10-12) and other times it plays really softly (volume of 25-30). Seems like when I don't have the music app active on my phone the car plays it loudly but when its already up the car will play it softly. Gonna have to play around with that some more because that can't be it ...makes no sense.
Yet my system doesn't want to play from the YouTube app. It will play YouTube if I use the browser though.

- Needle color = red so everything about my car is Red, Black and White ...no other colors need apply
- Turned Auto-Volume OFF on the radio ...man that annoys me
- Turned the sensitivity all the way up on the mouse
- Turned the haptic feedback all the way down on the mouse
- Turned those annoying sounds for the mouse movement and selection OFF
- Modified my EQ settings for all Source inputs

If you are talking on your mobile using BlueTooth and you suddenly need to park and turn your car off, that doesn't necessarily mean you have to end the call abruptly just because your BlueTooth connection will go dead.
